This is a hardwood Portafilter Handle Cover for the Cafelat Robot Portafilter. Made in two pieces - one Top and one Bottom, and attaches over your portafilter handle through use of VERY STRONG Magnets. The shape and size of the handle is inspired by the shape of the Olympia Cremina Handles, but we have maintained the overall shape & spirit of the original Robot Handle. You can easily remove it if you need to submerge the portafilter in water (the wood handles shouldn't be soaked in water!) The Robot handle is a bit tricky because it isn't absolutely flat on both sides - it is hand polished and the underside has a slight curve to it that can vary a tiny bit - we don't think they are ALL identical. So, to deal with that bit of variation we include some small dots to be used as a shim if needed so the handle has a nice tight fit.. The wood handle cover gives the Robot Portafilter a very nice feel in the hand! Instructions are included. Made in our workshop in Idaho, USA. Choose American Red Oak or Black Walnut! |
